The Spyder we are techincally the third owners of this car. I say that because the second owner sold the car to a fella who turned right around and sold it to a Gal who turned right around and sold it to us. The second owner was Dale Manufacturing who supplied quality parts to Corvair lovers for years. I called him one day and talked to him about the car and he said he bought in 1975 the same day he proposed to his wife. The car had a broken flywheel (go figure). Pretty cool story I thought. I quickly got busy restoring the interior. Which meant we had to find some orginal bucket seats, then locate some sweetarts (as my wife calls them) so that it would correct for '62. I am pleased with the interior and enjoy driving the car around. Next up the paint and body work..
