1966 Corvair Sport Coupe, 110 hp, 4 speed. Previously owned by Dave Leonard and Lauren Farese. Used for ice racing and driven at Lime Rock in the NECC Time Trials many years. Repainted one time by Lauren and then restored again by Al. Body work by Freddy McWilliams of Rockaway, NJ in 1990.

There's plenty of information out there on the internet about tire & wheel size combinations that fit Corvairs. Start here:

If you want to get extreme - like 12" wide wheels - you'd need to tub-out the rear fender wells, which in turn, means you'd have to install the engine in the front. Major, major surgery!
